“It is pleasant to see you. It has been awhile. I hope you are doing well.”

Yukari smiled wide, and gripped his hand lightly.
“Let’s just find something delicious, alright?”

>He was trying to rack his brain for what that sweets place was called, but couldn’t come up with it.

>Chidori knew where it was but still had no name.

Yukari laughed and nodded.
“But I did! It’s the rules of the mistletoe game!”
She smiled, and sat on his bed next to him. The sudden change in subject made her smile, and she turned her head towards him.
“Yes, Lunch. You know, food?”
>Game? Is that all it was? Playing games was the last thing that Chidori wanted to do. He couldn’t come up with a response that wouldn’t offend the girl, so he remained silent and swallowed the lump in his throat.
Yeah… I know what food is.
>His gaze was still held down to the ground. Chidori’s mood was not improving any and it was as if a cloud was hanging over his head that he couldn’t shake. He couldn’t tell that he was feeling this way because the overwhelming amount of presence of the shadows growing stronger or if it was just the time of year.
